- According to strict medical standards, interventional pain procedures can be done as safely on an out-patient basis in an appropriately appointed pain management center as in a hospital.
- Lansdale Pain Management Center is pleased to offer state-of-the-art equipment. Procedures are performed with the aid of a Fluroscopy machine, which means they are are x-ray guided. A Fluroscopy is paramount to providing an exact and safe procedure.
- Convenience! Did you know that you can spend the better part of an entire day having a procedure done at the hospital? At Lansdale Pain Management Center, you will spend about 1 hour during your first visit. What's more, that includes not just the consultation with the doctor, but the procedure itself. Make an appointment first thing in the morning before going to work, or during your lunch hour.
- You will not be responsible for a facility co-pay (sometimes over $100 if done in the hospital). Your only obligation will be your regular specialist copay as indicated on your insurance card.
- Eat breakfast, eat lunch. Drive yourself. No problem. In most cases, patients do not need any anesthesia, other than local anesthesia, during the procedure. You do not need to give up your entire day to have a pain procedure performed.
